Established in 1987, SHANGHAI SDAR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMETNS CO., LTD. worked together with A.W. SPERRY to develop inside-magnetism meters and succeeded in the trial research and production. Therefore, we are the first company in China that brings in this American technology. In the first year of its establishment, the output of model SP -5A of WENZHOU LUCHENG SDAR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS CO., LTD. has achieved 150,000, which has broken the producing record of meters in China . Thereafter, we brought in the series of SP-5B, SP-BT, SP -20A etc, some of which are still in production.

In 1990, we passed the national quality certification.

In 1990, in order to meet the requirements of large numbers of international customers, we separately developed and manufactured inside-magnetism meters: SP-20D, SP-15D, SP-38D series, and got a very good market. At that time, many customers bought our products and changed the packages, and then sold out as products made in Taiwan .

In 1995, analog clamp meters are developed and put into production, and got a very good reaction.

In199X, under the commissions of foreign Ministry of Education, we developed education meters, and got the international tender. Recently they are still in production.

In 1995 , we passed the CE assessment.

In 1995, insulation resistance testers are developed and passed the assessment.

In 1995, we designed and developed the series of 12A , 18A and 19A , and cecome the first in the line of meter that passed the UL assessment.

In 2001, we cooperated with a Japanese company and developed our first model of digital multimeter KW-1166. It is a mini auto-ranging multimeter, with a thickness of about 10 mm . So far, it is still one of those meters that with the smallest volumn.

In 2002, we developed several models of digital multimeter according to customers' requirements, and made the volume production of them, which won our customers' positive appraisement.

In 2003, we built our new workshop in Shanghai , and changed our company name into SHANGHAI SDAR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMETNS CO., LTD.

In 2003, the annual output of digital meters and analog meters broke 500,000.

In 2005, WENZHOU SDAR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMETNS CO., LTD moved to Shanghai , and set to production.

In 2006, SHANGHAI SDAR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMETNS CO., LTD. began the volumn production formally.

In 2006, we developed the first model of auto-ranging digital multimeter.

In 2006, we developed a series of new models.
